So – here’s the thing. You buy each CD as it comes out – over what now – 2 or 3 years – and the 6th is now ONLY available as part of a 6 CD bundle. Translation – don’t bother buying stuff as you go – because you are going to have to buy it all over again anyway. Burning Shed have opened up an EBay store for rare and collectable music from their stable … The NYT did an excellent piece this weekend on the art and science behind Pandora. Fascinating reading, both on how Pandora profiles the songs as well as how cultural influences interfere with our ability to just listen. This series are al tied into the changing nature of the music industry – some old – some new – but now grouped together for posterity. Shawn Michael is the bass player for the Vince Esquiree Band ANF Kanekoa – BOTH well worth listening to – and Shawn is a superb bass player.
