		<description>I think this album is, indeed, a roller coaster ride.  While the &quot;Dark Side&quot; is maintained in structure its approached in a loose, distorted fashion. One could argue it&#039;s way too loose.  But I wouldn&#039;t agree.  It&#039;s been interpreted in an acid-drenched fashion and is best listened to with the lights off and the volume up.  Hmmm...just what I did when I first heard Dark Side of the Moon: stoned, in the dark, with my girlfriend.  

Someone was going to cover this album.  I&#039;m glad it was the Flaming Lips.

Give it a couple of more listens - if you are a &quot;FLips&quot; fan then this is required listening.  Indeed, combined with their latest album Embryonic, the band is making a very strong and non-commercial statement.  I give this album the highest recommendation.</description>
