you are one lucky bloke! and I was going to rub in the fact I’m going to see Opeth in nyc for the 20th anniversary tour!
As per our conversation the other day BobbyG – the fact that Opeth are having a 20th Anniversary is extraordinary even in itself !
Just bought my tickets to see the boys in NYC at Radio City Music Hall. I believe these shows will be the last for them to perform The Incident in its entirety. And they promise extended sets of rarely performed songs.
It will be interesting to see if they sell it out. Seating capacity is approximately 6,000 seats.
Royal Albert Hall has a 5.5 thousand capacity -so with Radio City – they are definitely making a move to large venues – when i first saw them all those years ago in SF – Filmore – capacity 1000 – the venues in london i saw them in were about the same – then i saw them at the Warfield – 2,500 capacity – so – they are on a trajectory !!!
